I know at one point we were on an island of sorts in that we are running OPEN in multiple locations as quasi standalone companies. Is this still the case?

An improvement I/we would like to see in the next release is the option to filter results by the staff member's current company. Basically add a box that could be checked/unchecked on the Select Customer and Select Patient pages that would limit the results when checked.

Would others need/use/support such a project?

Alan - this feels like an extension/co-project of http://www.openvpms.org/project/clinician-and-worklist-selection-improve... - ie if we enhance the clinician and worklist selection as per the referenced project, we should logically also add customer and patient selection, and also logically use the same design - ie an 'All Locations' checkbox on the customer and patient selection screens which is by default unchecked.

Note that the impetous for the project came Trilby thinking about how things will operate in the new Tseung Kwan O office when it opens in a couple of months. Although there is only one business entity, she manages each of the existing sub-entities via their practice locations. So although they are not separate companies, she wants/needs to evaluate their performance as though they were.
