Getting mobile numbers on the customer activity report

Hi does anyone know how to get mobile numbers onto the customer activity report, so i could export the numbers into our sms software to send a mass sms to all clients?

or is there already a different report that might do this?

Humm - a hole in the product line ;-)  We have export email and export addresses, but no export phone numbers. I suspect that I should clone the export email pair to show phone numbers with an option to just show SMS enabled numbers.

What version of OpenVPMS are you running?

Yes i have done few mail outs using email and address which have been great, but i have found people do really like our SMS reminders now, so i thought a mass SMS would be great too.

We currently run 1.8.1 Open vpms.

I would be interested in what you plan to put in the 160 character SMS message - or does your bulk SMS handler support multi part messages?

But i am having trouble downloading this report, i can save the report with no trouble but when i try to open it with ireport it coming up with error.....

net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 15; columnNumber: 91; cvc-complex-type.3.2.2: Attribute 'hTextAlign' is not allowed to appear in element 'style'.

So when i go to transfer it to openvpms it wont let me.

Is there something i need to alter on my end to rectify this?

**** Kassie - although what is said below is true, the versions in the resource library would not run with 1.8 because of the Jaspersoft library revision. I have updated the versions at http://www.openvpms.org/customisation/export-customer-phone-numbers with versions that use the correct library and I have tested these running in the 1.8 demo system at http://demo.openvpms.org/openvpms/login

Kassie - you are running 1.8.1 - although one can still use iReports to build reports for use in 1.8.1, as per http://www.openvpms.org/documentation/csh/1.8/topics/installing-openvpms... the preferred tool is Jaspersoft Studio.

This is what I use, and hence the report is built with this, and iReports is getting pee'd off with the more modern jrxml stuff.

I must admit that I failed to update the Reference|Reports and Documents to discuss Studio - however, I have remedied that in the 1.9 documenation set. So have a look at the "Studio Notes" section in http://www.openvpms.org/documentation/csh/1.9/reference/reportsForms

NOTE - you should not need to modify the report using Studio - you should be able to simple create a new document template using the jrxml file as content.
