[Patient Module] Invoicing clients

Currently when writing an invoice we have to use the mouse move from phase to phase in the invoicing process. I understand that when the workflow module becomes available it will contain hotkeys to move to certain functions and allow familiar users to navigate (faster) without a mouse if they want BUT within a module like invoicing it would be good if we could tab between "add" , "apply", "select" etc as well as the quantity and price fields of the invoice . Also when we have added an item to the invoice it would be good to be able to tab straight to selecting the next item and if a list is opened for the nearest match then to be able to use down arrows/pg down keys to navigate and select from it. Are these part of the workflow update? Peter

Hi Peter, These will all be part of the look and feel enhancements that will add proper tab and keyboard support. i.e. you will able to use tab keys to navigate through the data entry fields and buttons correctly and also use shortcut keys for the standard buttons. You will also be able to use arrow and page up/down for lists. All the keyboard enhancements are due for release in 0.6 when most of the base functionality is completed. The Workflow functionality is actually related to scheduling, work lists and the ability to define set workflow steps that can be initaited from these areas. i.e medical records ->Charges -> Medical Records etc. Regards Tony

invoice totals

When invoicing I am not seeing the total cost of a particular item (e.g. amoxil tablets x 5) being calculated as I add the information but only after I click on apply. Will this calculate on the run in future releases. Also when are we expecting keyboard shortcuts to appear? PeterG
