PetPlan pet insurance integration?

Have there been any moves by PetPlan insurance to integrate with OpenVPMS? We use & love the new-ish PetSure VetHub integration. It would be good if PetPlan did something similar to simplify claims & reduce the perennial problem of "lost forms".

I just spoke to PetPlan, they are rushing this new product integration out - perhaps as soon as the end of 2020. I am overwhelmed...
Re: PetPlan pet insurance integration?
We have already stopped recommending them...because of the slow claims process.
Re: PetPlan pet insurance integration?
You can still create a claim for Petplan, and you can email or print it.
1. Go to Suppliers
2. New - Insurer
3. Enter 'Petplan' for the company name
4. Click OK
5. Create a policy/claim with Petplan as the insurer.
OpenVPMS ships with a default claim template that is included by when printing or mailing the claim (or press Alt-V to just show the PDF).
This may not be sufficient as it doesn't support a customer signature and they may not accept the layout.
If this is the case, you have a few options:
1. manually fill out the Petplan form, scan it, and add it as an attachment prior to finalising the claim.
2. create a Document Template that duplicates the Petplan form, with Type set to Insurance Claim Form - Custom, and link it to the Petplan insurer.
The second approach is preferable, as it means that you don't have to fill anything out by hand. However to get a customer signature, you'll have to print it off.
