I am playing in the 1.7 Alpha system (at http://174.143.255.21:8080/alpha/login ) trying to understand the stock control system. I have one product (id 891, "2 In 1 Vaccine - 100ml") with the stock qty -15 (I was testing what happened when I used more of a product than was in stock).  When I use Suppliers|Orders|Generate Orders it generates no orders so I thought - ahah - run the Stock Reorder Report.

When I did (without entering any parameters - ie leaving them at their defaults)  and pressing the Preview button I got a failure screen saying "Failed to generate report: Error executing SQL statement for : stock reorder report 20130305".

I am unsure whether I have everything correctly set (I would have expected the system to generate an order for this product) and an incorrect setup may be contributing to the SQL error. By 'correctly setup', I mean that a) there is a supplier set for the product with the required re-order info; and b) the Stock Location for the product is set with the Ideal Qty set to 100 and Critical Qty set to 10. [Given these settings with a stock of -15, I would have expected the system to generate and order for a qty or 120 (100-(-15)) rounded to 120 for the pack size of 10.]

If I play around with the Alpha system in the next few days, I will stay away from this product (id 891, "2 In 1 Vaccine - 100ml") so that I don't change the current setup.
