[OpenVPMS Developers] [JIRA] Created: (OVPMS-908) Allow user notes for payments, credits, counter sales and refunds

Allow user notes for payments, credits, counter sales and refunds -----------------------------------------------------------------

Key: OVPMS-908 URL: https://openvpms.atlassian.net/browse/OVPMS-908 Project: VPMS Web Application Issue Type: New Feature Components: Financial Reporter: Matt Costa Assignee: Tony De Keizer

The solution suggested by the users was the addition of a Notes field, the same as the field on Customer Invoices, to each of the above transaction types.

a) Add Notes field for payments, credits, counter sales and refunds b) When the Reverse button was used to create one of the above types add "Created by Reversal" as a default text within the Notes field. c) Add option to have a note as a mandatory field for some of the transaction types (specifically credits and refunds). This should be optional at a Clinic/location level.

Note that these fields are not intended for representation on the printed template but rather as an internal mechanism to annotate and log the reasoning behind the corrective transactions.

Tim asked; * When I first read this, I expected that implementers would edit the archetypes and make the note fields mandatory/optional. I missed the point that it should be optional at clinic/location level. Is this really required? Can always add flags to party.organisationLocation but it seems like overkill.

I'm happy for this to be an implementor task. It just needs to be able to be switched on and off so we don't drive users who did not wish it to be mandatory, crazy.
