Usage notes

Hi,
I want to automatically add usage notes for each medication, for example text like "take twice daily" or "don't give with milk". 
I found this JIRA:

Is this already implemented as a feature in OpenVPMS 1.4, or should I wait for OpenVPMS 1.5?

Hi Damien,

If you want the text you mention to be automatically in the dispensing instructions when a label dialogue appears you can use the Dispensing Instructions field in the medication product.  This has been around for some time.

The JIRA you mentioned is for Dispensing notes which is a new feature in version 1.5 which will display these notes in the label dialogue but not as part of the label that will be printed.  i.e more instructions to the clinician then instructions to the customer. If this is what you need then won't be available till version 1.5 released :-)
