Gribbles Submission form
In Melbourne, Gribbles (one of our founding sponsors dont you know) graciously has accepted our submissions using an automatically generated Patient Form that is created whenever we bill a lab product. At the moment the included data is limited to patient and customer details but probably advanced functionality like automatic tick box completion is possible.
The latest copy of this form now includes merge fields for the Practice details and includes the request id field recently introduced to allow automatic download systems to operate.
Please note that the form has also been modified to utilise the Patient name rather than Patient Id given you can now use the investigation workflow to manage incoming pathology results. You can readily modify it to utilise Patient ID if you prefer this approach.

Gribbles Submission form
Hi Matt,
Just a note. With version 1.4 pathology request forms can be linked to Investigation Types and Investigation Types can be linked to Products so when you bill the product an investigation entry is addedd to the Visit and you have the option of printing the request form directly. This was development work that was kindly sponsored by Gribbles (Thanks Liz !)
The other good thing about this is you can use the Investigation Request id in the Clinic Reference box. Just use the openvpms id field.
Cheers

Gribbles Submission form
Hi Tony,
I've been trying to use this feature but the print form button is greyed out for me. Do you need to set the form as a particular type of template? or are there any other requirements?
It will certainly be a very handy feature- Thankyou Gribbles,
Matt Y.

Just to clarify that it is greyed out when you are invoicing but later if you view the investigation tab on the patient's record you can then print. Is that the expected behaviour?
Gribbles Submission form
Hi Matt,
This is expected behaviour due to the fact that in order to get a request id the new invoice item has to be saved so we only display the Print button when it has been.
I suggest hitting Apply and then you can Print. Not as intuitive I agree but all we could think of at the time.

Gribbles Submission form
OK that makes sense Tony. Unfortunately there is no apply button in the dialogue, only OK and skip or cancel (can't remember which one). Should I JIRA to have one added?
Thanks,
Matt Y.
Gribbles Submission form
Hi Matt,
Was actually referring to the Apply button in the invoice edit screen not the dialogue that pops up for the investigation. So click Ok on the investigation dialogue and then Apply on the invoice edit screen and you will be able to Print the selected investigation form from the invoice screen.
I know not ideal but had no other way of getting a valid request id. Will keep thinking :-)
Cheers
Tony
