When estimating and invoicing, only the patient name is displayed.
It has been suggested that this be enhanced to include the summary of the current item's patient, similar to the following mockup:
This would enable a patient's reminders and alerts to be viewed by clicking on the appropriate buttons, as is currently done in the existing patient summary displayed on the left-hand side:
Note that it would not display reminders generated during invoicing until the invoice is saved.

This would be very useful :)

Re: Display patient summary information when estimating and ...
In practice, the placing the summary in the Invoice Item editing area doesn't work too well. On resolutions below 1280x800, scrollbars are required to display any alerts a patient may have. The following screenshot is for 1280x800.
Removing the Patient Alerts would improve things. When doing Check-In/Consult these can be viewed on the Reminders/Alerts tab. This doesn't help when performing standard invoicing however.
An alternative would be to display a popup that shows the patient details. This could be automatic, when an Invoice Item or patient is selected, or via a button. E.g.:
Another approach would be to display the patient summary at the top of the screen. This would reduce the size of the editing area, so there would need to be a button to show/hide the summary.
Re: Display patient summary information when estimating and ...
After discussions with the project sponsor, we've come to the conclusion that none of the above approaches work too well.
As such, this project is cancelled.
