New Patient Description column in the Customers search results

This suggestion came from the recent users meeting.

The idea was to add a Patient Description column to the Customer search results. The specific example given was the following;
Say a customer calls with a wrong Customer name (their boy freind brought the dog in first time but they have forgotten) so you just search the patient name. You get 5 Fluffy's. If you could see the Patient Description, this might making the right selection easier.

It could also potentially make the discovery of duplicate animals more likely (ie. One pet accidentally created for the same owner, address etc etc).

Show your love (or hate) for the idea!

New Patient Description column in the Customers search results

A new project has been created (here) complete with a JIRA (I thought it was a pretty simple request).

Now normally I don't get personal but the person who suggested this hasn't shown their support for the idea...

Do you remember who you were?

New Patient Description

Hi Matt,

I think it was me. I went through all the projects with Sam and he would like to pledge to a few of the projects but I don't think my idea was one of the ones he was interested in. Sorry, seems I am more opinionated than I can back up.

Hey Greta,

I wouldn't worry too much. You and Sam contribute to many projects!

Hopefully it will be relatively inexpensive and others may see the benefit. Chris B has already pledged before he even knew the cost, so that's a good sign!
