This report was built to enable an emergency practice to understand the breakdown of the income associated with consults and admissions.

The explanatory text is:

This report provides Consult and Admission statistics. It looks at all finalised invoices in the specified period and classifies them depending on whether they include one or more products with the Product Groups  AR-Consult and/or AR-Admit.
This gives 4 sets: contains Consult only, Consult and Admit, Admit Only, and Neither.
For each set the count of invoices and the average invoice amount (ex-tax) is displayed.
The 'Admit %' column shows the percentage of invoices containing a consult that included an admission on the same invoice.
The data is grouped by clinician. For invoices containing a consult item, this is the clinician set for the first consult item on the invoice; for the Admit Only set, it is the clinician set for the first admit item, and for the Neither set it is the clinician set for the first item that has a clinician set.

The date selection is from 00:00:00 on the From date to 23:59:59 on the To date.

Hence for this this report to be useful you must:
a) have product groups defined with the names AR-Consult and AR-Admit
b) give all consult products the classification AR-Consult
c) give all hospital admission products the classification AR-Admit

If you select the 'Show Details' option then each matching invoice will be displayed.
All amounts are ex-tax.
