Updated 6Nov2015 to correct the fact that customers with old credit balances were being displayed when 'Show Credit Balances' was false.

Updated 4Nov2015 with R05 version which is significantly faster that the original.

This report provides an accurate debtors position at any date. To do this it examines when invoices were paid.  This takes a lot of work and the report takes some time. If you want the current debtors position you should use the Debtors Report - Current - it is far faster.

The parameter selection screen is:

Sample output is:

The expanatory text is:

This shows the Outstanding Debtors position on the As At date and includes all finalised transactions to 23:59:59 on that date.  If you actually want the current debtors position, you should use the Current Debtors Report - it is faster and reports more information.
The customer location and account type selection fields entered have % added so that leaving them blank will find all, and entering say location %branch will find all customers with locations containing 'branch' in their name, and account type C will include all types starting C. The selection is case insensitive.
If there is no Customer Location selection then customers with no Practice Location set will be included. Using the selection '-' will select just those with no Practice Location set. The same applies for the Account Type selection.
If the 'Totals Only' option has been selected then only the totals are shown; otherwise details will be displayed if:
a) the 'Show 60+ Only' option has been selected and there are with amounts outstanding for 60 and over days (whether credit or debit); OR
b) the 'Show Credit Balances' option has be selected and the customer has a credit balance; OR
c) the 'Show 60+ Only' option has not been selected
Customers with zero balances are never shown.  Credit amounts are shown as (123.45)
If the 'Include Inactive Customers' option is set then customers who were not active at the As At date are included. A customer is deemed to be not active if their Active flag is not set AND they have no transactions after the As At date.
If the customer's Active flag is not set, then the first column will be ! if the customers has no transactions after the As At date, or # otherwise. Thus # indicates currently inactive but was active at the As At date, and ! indicates was inactive at the As At date.
Note that the Totals include all customers selected even if they have not been displayed. The Totals do not include "not active" customers unless the Include Inactive Customers box is checked  The Total amounts are in whole dollars to allow large amounts to be displayed.
