Just a minor no loss of function bug. 

A generic error is generated if no default alert is selected in lookups and

then someone attempts to create a Customer Alert. 

The error is a nullpointer exception and can easily be replicated if you

remove the default tick out of the lookup alert list.  The problem is

immediately resolved if you reselect the default. While this behaviour may be

intential to avoid alerts with no type, the error should be more imformative

to the user so they can manage and resolve it.  IE

"Please ensure your administrator has selected a default alert type, prior to

attempting to create customer alerts"
