To get this information you would need to have a report written to generated the customer counts and totals by referral type.

I have created a quick and simple "Customer Referral" report using the IReport designer and I have posted it on the Community Shared Resources area on the web site. It is pretty straight forward to install. Just create a new template with a suitable name and description ("Customer Referral report comes to mind) with type of Report and attach the report file you find on the site to the template. You will then see it in Reporting -> Reports. Click Run and then select Print or Preview. There are no parameters for this simple report and it will display totals by referral type and a nice little pie graph ...
