[Customer Module] patient editing in the customer window

If I am viewing or adding a customer's pets in the customer window and want to edit (or correct) a patient's details from this window I can't do it - I have to go to the patient window and edit from there. Will it be possible to edit patient details from the customer window in the future?

Re: patient editing in the customer window

Hi Peter, Yes. We are adding this into the current release. On the Patient tab will be an edit button which will automatically take you to the Patient-Information workspace with the currently selected Patient. In fact this button will be available for all relationships not only patients. i.e products to supplier, supplier to product etc etc Regards Tony

Re: patient editing in the customer window

Am I right that we will soon be able to add a patient from the customer window? I also notice that if I add a new patient and link it to a customer that I don't see that patient in the customer window (see owner Winkle and patient Browny) whereas the patient/customer relationship is shown in the patient window.

Re: patient editing in the customer window

Hi Peter, I assume you added the patient in the patient information workspace and then switched to the customer information workspace and the patient did not show-up. The problem here is the customer screen is not automaticallybeing updated so you are essentially seeing an old view of the customer screen. This is being fixed so that whenever you move from one workspace to another the viewed data is refreshed so you see the latest information. BTW you can add a patient directly in the customer workspace as well. Just edit the customer, select patients tab, select from the dropdown list if you are adding a owner or location relationship between new patient and current customer and click add. In patient select window you can find an existing patient or add a new patient by hitting New button. Regards Tony
