This is a modification of the standard Customer Product Sales Report extended to show fixed and unit costs and prices.

The Explanatory text is:
This report shows which products were sold during the specified period (and if details are requested, then to which customers).
The period is inclusive - ie sales from 00:00 on the start date through 23:59:59 on the end date.
The totals are the total of all invoices less any credits but does not include adjustments.
All the selection fields entered have % added so that leaving them blank will find all, and entering say product %vacc will find all products contain 'vacc' in their product name, and customer fred will find Fred, Fredricks, Freddy, etc. Note that these are case insensitive. If you just want counter sales, set the Customer to %counter sale.
For Product Type and Classification (Product Group and Product Income Type) selection, omitting the selection will include products with no product type or classification respectively, and using the selection '-' will find only those with no product type or classification.
All amounts are tax inclusive.
The Unit Cost column numbers are extended, ie what is shown is Unit Cost x Quantity. Ditto for the Unit Amount column.
NOTE that the cost and amount information is taken from the invoice (and credit) line items and not from the product price data.  Hence it reflects the costing and pricing at the time of the sale rather than the current cost and pricing.

I have run this, and it almost gives me what we are after. I couldn't get any filtering to work - we only want PO Medications, but I couldn't get the report to work when I put this in Product Type or Classification, with or without a % sign after it (wasn't sure if this was needed). It just returned an empty report.  Also, the only total it provided was for total medication cost; be good also to have the total of the fixed fees.

If I left all blocks empty, just changing the date, I got the full report, but as we have entered some of our procedures as Medications, it also included the cost of these, which we don't want.

I too have tried to run this report and we usually use Product Type in order to generate numbers to plug into our Chart of Accounts spreadsheet. Am I right in reading that you can only select it to include products that have a product type or no product type but cannot filter it by Product type?

 

Is there any way we can return the filtering by product type and classification? We used this feature a lot on our previous version.

Hi guys,

I am having trouble running the report whenever I input a type field.

I get a full list of products/customers, but nothing when a type field is entered.

We are running version 1.9 and as far as I am aware the implementation was carried out correctly.

I have tried uploading all the other available report templates for customer product sales and encounter the

same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I don't have a 1.9 installation at the moment, but this report works for me in 2.0. The Product Type can be entered as a partial or full name.
If you have the correct report loaded, it should have the heading "Customer Product Sales Report R01"
