1.7 Alpha - CSH Query - bar code lookup

I found the bar code scanner support.  Can someone comfirm that it works as follows:

  • you must have a product Identity type Bar Code
  • the bar code must be numeric  (ie it won't find ABCB as a bar code)
  • when you enter the product on the invoice, you can enter the bar code - which must be the full bar code, not just the first few digits - essentially the code examines what you entered, if its numeric then it looks for a product with an ID type Bar Code = what you entered

If you specify a numeric value, then an identity search will be performed.

You can enter the first few digits of the barcode (or whatever numeric identiities are configured) followed by a wildcard (i.e. "*") and it will find all products with identities prefixed with that value.
