also if anyone knows the xpath function to update a date field by 3years let me know

I came up with 

[date(date(openvpms:get(.,'startTime'))+yearMonthDuration ('P3Y'))]

but the xpression doesnt validate. "EXPRESSION ERROR"

This document requires that User's vet's full names are formatted like the following

'firstname' 'Lastname' B. V. Sc. 'StateofReg' 'REGNUM'

eg Benjamin Charlton B.V. Sc. QLD 3317

This wil allow the document to use an extraction formula to get your registration number and place it in the right box.

Of course you can change this formula with the right know how to follow your current naming convention
