adding client comments

is there some spot to add a client comment. Issues not necessarily bad debt - such as possible difficult cleint or client friend of xx etc, or unreliable etc.
Re: adding client comments
I tend to use an ALERT for this - give it a nice friendly colour ie green and then the title "CLIENT NOTE" or you could add one for each situation
ie "FRIEND OF PRACTICE" or
something obtuse "CLIENT FLAG"
each note can have custom comment which cant be used to expand that particular alerts reason
The Alert will appear in the left panel and is clickable so vets/nurse can read it
Use a discrete alert name for difficult clients in my opinion because in many cases the screen can be seen in consult.
eg we use "ACCOUNT NOTICE" for bad debts
Re: adding client comments
Thanks for advice but in my version that does not seem possible.
How do I find out which version I have?
If it is not latest version can this procedure still be carried out?
Re: adding client comments
The version is displayed at the bottom of the login window or at the top of Help - About.
Alerts have been a feature in OpenVPMS since at least OpenVPMS 1.7.
The documentation for OpenVPMS 2.1 can be found here: https://openvpms.org/documentation/csh/2.1/concepts/alerts
Re: adding client comments
Hi guys,
We use the "Communications and Notes" workspace of the Customer extensively.
Notes are for anything that is not part of the medical record. In some customers, their communications section can be as richly populated as a patients medical record.
One small bug we have noticed (maybe not a bug - maybe an intended behaviour) is that the when the Alert End Date expires, the associated notification in the Customer summary does not hide. Is this intended?
Cheers
Matt
Re: adding client comments
This should work in OpenVPMS 2.1. If a customer or patient alert End Date is < today it should be hidden. What is the Start Date and End Date for the alert?
Re: adding client comments
Apologies Tim,
It does work as intended. I should have tested before I posted!
Cheers
Matt
