Adding New Appointment Reason Doesn't Show in Schedule

If I add a new "Appointment Reason" to Administration | Lookups, it appears in the "Reason" drop-down list when scheduling a new appointment, but then, when looking at the Schedule, the appointment reads "null": the only Appointment Reasons that appear in the schedule are Checkup, Other, Vaccination.

Added items such as Surgery, Dental Procedure, Desexing all appear as "null".

Am I adding these extra Reasons in the right place? Or are there only three hard-coded?

Yuri.

Re: Adding New Appointment Reason Doesn't Show in Schedule

This was a bug in 1.4 which has been fixed for 1.5.

To see the new lookups, you need to restart Tomcat.

See https://openvpms.atlassian.net/browse/OVPMS-930 for details.

Re: Adding New Appointment Reason Doesn't Show in Schedule

Thanks Tim, appt reasons now work perfectly - I'd logged out/in without it "sticking" but hadn't thought to stop/restart Tomcat.

Cheers

What is Tomcat?

A member of the feline species that hasn't......

Seriously, Tomcat "provides a Java HTTP web server environment for Java code to run." (from Wikipaedia).  It's a component that was installed as part of your openVPMS installation.

To stop/restart Tomcat, right-click on Computer,

select "Manage",
select "Services and Applications"
select "Services"
and it's there under "Apache Tomcat n" (where n is version number). Select it and you'll have stop/restart options to its left.

HTH.
