adding a new payment type

I have added a new payment type lookup which I have called direct credit.

I also edited the payment type EFT to be Eftpos.

When I go into the payment dialogue the original lookups are still there, not the edited or new ones.

Does the payment dialogue not use the lookups? or am I doing something wrong?

I thought that it may be till related but I added the new payment type to the till and there is still no change.

Those aren't lookups being displayed in the payment dialog, but act.customerAccountPayment items.

These are determined by the actRelationship.customerAccountPaymentItem archetype which lists the following acts as valid targets:

  • act.customerAccountPaymentCash
  • act.customerAccountPaymentCheque
  • act.customerAccountPaymentCredit
  • act.customerAccountPaymentEFT
  • act.customerAccountPaymentDiscount

Hi Matt,

This lookup is a design hangover from the early days that was not removed when we implemented payment types differently.    Will clean up for 1.4.

Can we still not add or change payment types? I just need to add a GE Care Credit.
