Check in - Default weight

Hi - about to implement OpenVPMS and have a few observations - have checked through the forums and haven't found relevant topics

Will list them in separate posts so they can be dealt with individually.

 

Workflow - Check In. At the "New Weight" screen the weight defaults to the patients previous weight.

As the likelihood that the weight is exactly the same is very low, but that the risk of recording that incorrect weight exists, wouldn't it be better to default to 0.00? An accidently accepted 0.00 weight is clearly incorrect, while the default weight is believable.

I think this is a very good idea Jim. Furthermore, if the value entered
is zero (ie. unchanged), it should not create a weight entry at all.

I will create a project if just one more person indicates their support
