Combined Reminders

Can anyone give me a heads up on how to set up Multiple animal reminders per household - at the moment i have a seprate reminder printing for every animal and for every different reminder product due, hence this can somtimes mean 5 different reminders per household!!!! Cheers Roz.

Hi Roz,
OpenVPMS supports grouped reminders. To setup you need to first create a suitable template to use for the grouped reminders. You may enlist some help to do this as it is report rather than a document so you need to use iReport to create or edit.
Once that is created and added as a Group reminder template you need to go through your Reminder Types and tick the "Group" checkbox in the ones you want to be grouped by customer. Once this is completed when you "Send All" in the Reminders workspace it will group multiple reminders fo rth esame customer as you requested.

How do I go about changing the text on my grouped reminder. I have had a staff change and need to edit the names on the reminder. I have changed the simple documents but not sure how to change the grouped one.

The grouped reminder template is a Jasper Report that is edited in iReport.
Its attached to a Document Template in Administration|Templates, named "Grouped Reminders Report".
When you locate the Document Template, click View. The Content field has the Jasper Report. If you have the default setup, it will be named "grouped reminders a4.jrxml". Click on this, and save it to disk.
You can now open it in iReport.
Once you have made your changes, edit the Document Template, and upload the changed .jrxml file.
