Re Estimates Report: Does anyone regularly use this report and consider it to be useful? If so, can I have a chat as to how best to utilise this?
Re: Estimates Report
Anyone out there re this?
Re: Estimates Report
Hi,
We don't. I only just had a look at the report.
How I might use it now:
- To ensure estimates are being created correctly. Use as a way to improve templates for estimates and train staff that are inaccurately or incompletely estimating.
What would make this report better and REALLY useful for us (IMO).
- Clinican listed with each estimate
- A way to compare estimate to final invoice for associated visit - Including discounting.... THIS would be gold. See where and why persistent under estimating is happening.
Re: Estimates Report
on that note - we would pay to have such an upgraded report created
Re: Estimates Report
Is the clinician already listed for each estimate in the report?
As far as I can see there is no act_relationship for estimations and invoices to facilitate estimate - invoice reporting though.
Cheers
Matt
Re: Estimates Report
I agree with Eastside vets, this report or similar could be very useful if modified. Ideally for me, it would include, by each vet, by a time period (I would run quarterly), with number of estimates written, number invoiced, and amount in $. I would be happy to contribute to development. However perhaps there is an existing report that does this? Please advise.
I also like Eastside vets suggestion for measuring variation between amnt estimated and amnt invoiced.
Re: Estimates Report
In OpenVPMS 2.2, the Estimates Report shows the invoice id, amount and difference between the invoice and estimate totals, for those estimates that have been invoiced.
This will only be shown for estimates invoiced after OpenVPMS 2.2 is installed, as there is no relationship between an estimate and invoice prior to this release.
Re: Estimates Report
Hi,
That sounds great! Thank you!
Re: Estimates Report
Just wondering if there is still only the one Estimates Report? It would be good just to have a summary of estimates:
1) prepared by number and
2) by $,
vs invoices
3) number invoiced/completed
4) $ invoiced/completed
and ratio of
5) Vet total number prepared vs vet invoiced
6) Vet total $ prepared vs $ invoiced
Thanks guys
Re: Estimates Report
Hi James,
Currently only one Estimates report available as part of the release or contributed.
