Google Chrome incompatibility issue

Hi all,

the latest version of Google Chrome (39.0.2171.65 m) is incompatible with the OpenVPMS web application. If you use Google Chrome, turn off auto updates to avoid updating to this release. If you have already updated, you will need to revert to an earlier release, or use Firefox.

A typical error displayed is: "An application error has occurred, your system has been reset".

This is triggered by the browser supplying floating point values for scroll bar positions where previously integer values were used. To replicate the behaviour, create a Note in Patients - Medical Records and repeatedly press Enter so that scroll bars appear. The error should trigger soon after.

The incompatibility appears to arise from this change to the browser. There is more background to the change here.

Re: Google Chrome incompatibility issue

Can you be specific and detail where in Openvpms this error was being thrown - I am using the version of chrome specified with no problem. or is it intermittent?
