Gribbles Merge problem

I have added a field in the Gribbles form 'history' section to identify the test we have requested as a double check when we are filling it in to try and avoid staff ticking the wrong test- unfortunately it does not merge the details. I emailed it to MattC and it worked perfectly with his system - he is on 1.4Beta, I am on full 1.4 - is there a difference that should make this happen?

Hi Nick,

You have used product.entity.name field.  Need to use investigationType.entity.name  field.

Gribbles Merge problem

Hi Tony,

Just tried that - no difference.

Gribbles tests are listed as products/medications and billed on the invoice as such with the Gribbles form attached to each 'medication'. We do not add the test as an investigation initially so I would have thought the original field should work??

(Can you add an 'investigation' at the invoicing stage or just through history?)

Thanks for looking

Nick

Gribbles Merge problem

Hi Nick,

Ok, now makes sense.  Even though you have linked the document to the product the document cretaed has no link to the product that created it.

Since version 1.4 you are able to link investigations to products and templates to investigations. This means when you bill that product the investigation is added to the visit automatically and during billing you will be able to print the template form if one is attached.

The benefit of this is you can also add the request id number to the template (id field).  As I suggested the investigationType can also be used to print the investigation requested.

Hope this makes more sense.

Gribbles Merge problem

Thanks for clearing that up Tony.

What is the mergefield I put in for the investigation id and do I put it in the 'Clinic Reference' box on the Gribbles form or where?

Does the local lab need to be notified to use this ID or does Gribbles use it automatically?

Thanks,

Nick

Gribbles Merge problem

Hi Nick,

Use id field in "Clinci reference" box.

Gribbles will use this and EClinic, if setup correctly, will download the results and set the file name to this reference number.

Gribbles from

Is there an actual user mergefield that will grab the investigation number that I can put in the clinic reference box or do I just copy and pate the number into it?

Gribbles from

Hi Nick,

The id  field is what you need.  This is the investigation request id and is used by the lab to uniquely identify the request and for electronic download purposes.

Gribbles Form

Hi Tony, Sorry to be pedantic - I know it is the id field but is there an actual mergefield (like maybe

investigationType.entity.id) that I can put in the form to grab the id automatically?

Cheers,

Nick

Gribbles Form

Hi Nick,

Sorry the merge field to use is simply  id

Seems too simple I know but this does represents the id of the investigation.

Cheers

Tony
