Grouped Reminders
Hello All,
We are sending our reminders predominantly via email. Often we find that one patient is due for multiple injections and at the moment our reminders are set up so the client receives multiple reminders for the one patient. we'd prefer to send ONE email to the client rather than send 3-5.
I found information about 'grouped' reminders - but I don't know how to interpret it. Can we set up grouped reminders so that the system generates one reminder for the one patient. Eg: Our records indicate that Muffin is due for proheart injection, BB vaccination, and C5 vaccination. It would be great if the reminder could specify and list the actual injections that are due.
Is there a template for this?
Also, sometimes when we send our reminder batch through, if there is a client with a reminder for two patients, it says: "document template has no email text. Grouped Reminder Report." ??

Hi Amanda,
you certainly can create grouped reminders. This was a feature championed by Bellarine VC and was one of the first user funded features.
Setting it up properly within your own reminder types might be a good job for an implementor though. Not sure you want to get its configuration mixed up.

Grouped Reminders currently operate by Customer not Patient.
You can nominate which reminder types participate in grouped reminders by ticking the Grouped tick box in the Reminder Type.
Grouped Reminders cna detail patient and reminder information. The grouped reminder template you use dictates the format. There ar esome samples in the release and also you can ask other usesr to contribute some of their templates .. I am sure many woudl be happy to show you what they have setup i.e Postcards etc
If emailing grouped reminders you need the email subject and body fileds setup on the Grouped reminder template.
