Increasing prices for professional services
Hi everyone,
We are wanting to increase our prices for our professional services and would like to be able to do it as a batch rather than individually to save time. We have not increased our pricing in quite some time. Is it possible to do this.

We simply do this by exporting the set of services we want to update using the Product screen
Importing the CSV file into Sheets/Excel
Usinga formula to update the prices.
ie `<CurrPriceExTax> * 1.05 = <newPriceExTax>`
Copy the newPRice column over the CurrPrice Column
Save as CSV (remove columns you dont need ie the formular columns etc.
Import the new price list.
*** This will overwrite the old prices ***
Alternatively you can create a new price entry by removing the price id column ie remove the values - this will then insert the new prices as a new entry with a start date as today and set the old prices with a finish date of yesterday (I think)

We also use the excellent export feature.
We further refine the process by assigning classifications to our products according to their price adjustment strategy (eg. CPI adjusted group). This allows us to export the products in groups, apply price adjustments and then re upload.
