Insurance - patient linkage and forms

I am starting work on a branch patch - I am trying to ensure its forward compatible with any future insurance changes...obviously I recognize the limitations and possibility the spec will change...but is this project a firm outline?

Not really. At this stage, the project is about collating invoice items and medical records to form a claim. This is probably sufficient information to support a claim, but not enough to generate a claim, as it doesn't handle requirements for individual insurers.

It could do, but there needs to be:

  • some input as to which insurers should be supported
  • a decision if we should try and replicate individual insurer's forms, or if a generic form is sufficient
