I've spoken to our pathology lab again, and it seems we cannot fix the Results In/Archive problem where the PDF files with the same name (interim reports and final reports) will not automatically be replaced in the Archive folder. Therefore they get stuck in the Results:In folder until I manually move them or rename them. 

They can't add an underscore to the files as this would be different to every other clinic and would be a human process where every time they did a final report they would have to remember to put a _a at the end which would most probably not happen 100% of the time.

My only thought would be to download a program that would allow automatic replacement of files of the same name to our server. Do you think this is an option? Or do you have any other advice?
