Hi Matt,
Go to the Patients area, then click "Search". After that, make sure the check boxes are ticked for "Search Identities", and "All Patients". Type in the first couple numbers/letters of the microchip and hit Find. That should search through Microchip numbers and PetTag numbers. There's no way to search for just a microchip... but rather you'll have to search through all identities. Fortunately since both Microchips and Pettags are relatively unique (unlike patient names), you'll probably result in a pretty narrowed down list.
Re: How do i search a microchip number only????
It is described here: http://www.openvpms.org/documentation/searching-patient-microchip-number
Kind regards,
Matt Y.
