I am not sure if the JIRA provider we are using (I am assuming its either selfhosted or hosted as a OSP by Atlassian) eitherway is it possible to activate the RPC service, to allow access for the Netbeans dev environment.  It is still login controlled so noone gets more or less access than they already have - it just means I can view tasks and the comments within the dev environ.
