Mapping in Kettle

I've been working on migrating a lot of old DBF files to openvpms and I've run into a few little problems. For one, I'm not quite sure how to go about mapping things, such as a customer's current balance, previous balance, and last payment dates. Other things I have been running into are mapping patients' weights and last time they were seen by a vet.
Re: Mapping in Kettle
Donielle - I suspect that the best way to proceed is for me to send you the package of transforms that I used to convert an RxWorks system to OpenVPMS 1.7.
This will give you an idea of the way I proceeded. A lot of the code will be useless to you because it is concerned with data scrubbing (ie fixing the stuff that RxWorks allowed but OpenVPMS does not - eg shih tzu spelt 10 different ways.)

Re: Mapping in Kettle
Tim- Sounds like a good idea! I have a lot of columns in tables that are useless and I'm having to do a lot of data clean up as well. Maybe some of it can be of use.
