Can definitely see the logic in this but we pretty much create our Prescriptions from the Medication label since that become possible. Working from the first dispensing event has meant that the medication default label gets prefilled.
Just curious Ben, in what circumstances do you guys find it better to create a prescription from scratch?

Primarily when dispensing direct to script - ie we are never dispensing the meds we are writing a script to be sent to a compounder or general pharmacy

Can you explain what you see now and what you want to see?
When creating a new prescription, the Label field will be populated from the product's Label Instructions. If the product has Dispensing Notes, these will be displayed.
