Missing top Screen Bar ? SOLVED

Good morning

I am wondering if anyone has seen this problem - the top line of the main window is missing?:

The system is running 2.2.1 and it is a recovered system from a hard disk failure that occurred a week or so ago.  Everything else seems ok apart from this main screen issue.  As you can see the top line is missing.

I have done some digging and it looks like the login screen is still being held in the background rather than the normal screen but I may be well off the mark?

If you get the browser to show image URL it gives me this

http://localhost:8080/openvpms/app/1?serviceId=Echo.StreamImage&imageuid...

when the normal background image give this http://25.31.98.129:8080/openvpms/images/openvpms.png

Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Missing top Screen Bar ?

Try logging in to OpenVPMS using a different browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge). Do you experience the same issue?

Yes same result ... I just tried it in Brave and a newly installed version of Chrome with the same result?

Re: Missing top Screen Bar ?

Check that your Practice Location logo is correct.

From https://openvpms.org/documentation/csh/2.2/admin/organisation/location :

Logo - used to set the logo to be displayed at the top of the screen when the Practice Location is selected. Logos may be .png, .jpg, .gif, or .bmp format, and should be no more than 30 pixels high. Note that any new logo will be displayed after the location is selected.

Re: Missing top Screen Bar ?

Great Tim,

Sorted ... that was the problem.  The image which was set was way to large so it took all of the space. I reinstalled the standard image and it worked fine.

Again thanks for your excellent help.  More wine!!

I will mark as solved just in case someone else has the same problem going forward.

best regards Des
