New Note and Visit button
This suggestion came from the recent Users Meeting.
The most common use of medical records is to add notes. If there is a note added without a visit (eg.Phone call etc) a Visit must first be created.
There was a request for a new button in Medical Records that allowed a user to create a New Visit & Note with one click.
Elements to nail down:
i. Will the new Visit inherit the date from the Note?
ii. How do we want the Visit Reason filled out? It was suggested it should say “Communication”. What about just Blank and edit it later?New Note and Visit button

I agree that blank would be better as it may not always be a 'communication' you want to record. It could be a vets interpretation of a path test for instance.

I also agree that Blank would be best, and then individuals can create a Macro to describe whatever it is.
In addition, I would like/suggest that whatever the date field attached to this note, that it be able to be user defined, and that all dates in the medical record be able to be chronological---- for me this is most recent at the top of the record
This would be a fantastic addition,

OK so that is two votes for blank.
The date for the Visit I will suggest is populated from the Note date and send it to the developers for costing.
In regards to the order notes are shown Paul, that option is here http://www.openvpms.org/project/medical-records-display-order and already has one pledge.... but only one.
