[OpenVPMS Developers] [JIRA] Created: (OVPMS-911) Markup is calculated incorrect when adding new product with unit pricing

Markup is calculated incorrect when adding new product with unit pricing ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Key: OVPMS-911 URL: https://openvpms.atlassian.net/browse/OVPMS-911 Project: VPMS Web Application Issue Type: Bug Components: Product Affects Versions: 1.3 Reporter: Matthew Young Assignee: Tony De Keizer

If you add a new product with unit pricing, then add a supplier with list and net price with the autoupdate option selected, the sale price gets calculated as cost + 10% GST.

The field for markup says 100.00 but the markup doesn't seem to be working.

To correct it you need to delete the input in the markup field and re-enter it and then it calculates it correctly. Just editing the product and saving it doesn't resolve the problem, you need to remove and replace the text in the field so there must be a difference between the stored and displayed values for that field??

Hi Matt, If this is being done in one edit cycle i.e you add the unit price and the supplier information all at the same time and then save I can understand what may cause this behaviour. Can you try hitting apply after adding the unit price and before adding the supplier and see what happens ? Tony

Hi Tony,

I was actually hitting apply previously but tried the reverse (ie. not hitting apply) and the price markup was correct.
