The OpenVPMS development team have completed testing of the next release of OpenVPMS: version 1.3 and it is now ready for installing in your practice. This release contains many bug fixes but also quite a few new features. A full list can be found here: http://www.openvpms.org/openvpms-version-1.3

Version 1.3 ships with a new graphical appointment and workflow scheduler. This scheduler was developed from community contributions to the 'enhanced scheduler group'. If you would like to get involved in helping with a similar project join a group and interact in the forums. OpenVPMS is developed according to the needs, requests and requirements of the OpenVPMS community. Speak up and have your say and help shape the software that you use on a daily basis.

Version 1.3 can be downloaded for free here: http://www.openvpms.org/download . While downloads are free, if you are using OpenVPMS in a veterinary practice you need to purchase a subscription according to the number of vets in your practice. If you haven't yet purchased a subscription you can purchase it through the website at http://www.openvpms.org/subscription-form . Payments can be made securely through paypal or by sending a cheque (details will be given during the checkout process).
