Patient id

Does anyone know whether you can add a Patient's id to a Patient Form as a Merge Field, and if so where is the Merge Field instruction

The field name is "patient.entity.uid".

In Users | Documentation, read http://www.openvpms.org/document-merging-with-open-office-writer for a list of all fields and illustrated instructions.

Actually, "uid" is deprecated in favour of "id", as of the 1.3 release.

The preferred usage is "patient.entity.id".

I've updated the documentation to reflect this.

Probably because I only added it (and Tim then corrected/updated it) to the list of merge-fields when I saw your post.  I had been searching the forums for "id" for an investigation form I was trying to understand, a couple of days ago and came across both "id" and "patient.entity.id".
