Payment type

Hi,

as 90% of our payments are by EFT is it possible to change the order of payment types so that if defaults to EFT rather than Cash - cannot find a way under admin - it seems to be buried in archtypes, It would save another step at reception.

Thanks,

Nick

  Hi Nick, Yes, can

Hi Nick,

Yes, can definitely reorder the payment list and have EFT as the default selection.  Requires an updated archetype.  Unfortunately can't see where to attach file in forum post reply with new web site updates but will attach in due course.

To install new archetype all you need to do is goto Administration ->Archetypes and click the Import button.  Browse to location where you have saved the attached file (actRelationship.customerAccountPaymentItem.adl) and import.  It will warn you that you will be updating an existing archetype.  This archetype is be valid for all 1.4 installations.

If users want this to be the default payment type I can update this in the 1.5 update.

Cheers

Tony

uploads on comments are now enabled.

Hi Tony,

I have installed a missing module and you can now attach files to comments again.

I'm happy to retain cash as default as we have about 50/50 between cash and EFT/CC.

Can I just confirm that you are now receiving notifications from the forums OK? If anyone isn't receiving email notifications and should be could you please let me know.

Matt Y.

Payment order

Thanks Tony,

Works fine,

Re: Thanks Matt for reinstating

Hi guys,

Is it possible to have "none" as the payment type (that doesn't work) so staff must choose a payment type rather than defaulting to CC or EFT or CASH.

Payment Order

Hi Tony,

Is this archetype (actrelationship.customeraccountpaymentitem.adl) valid for 1.5 as the payment type order has reverted to the earlier one since update.

Thanks,

Nick

Re: Payment Order

Hi Nick,

Sorry for the late reply but I have been on leave and just catching up with tasks.

This archetype change is valid for version 1.5 so you can re-import it from Administration -> Archetypes.

Cheers Tony
