Product Dose Rate rounding to 3 decimal places
Submitted by gretalloyd on Fri, 19/08/2022 - 10:22
Hi,
I would like to have a dose rate of a product be 0.005
When I try to change it to that, it reverts to 0.01
I presume this is a setting in Archetypes, perhaps the java.maths.BigDecimal but could someone guide me how to change the rate to 3 decimal places?

This is currently unsupported.
Raised as OVPMS-2691
Re: Product Dose Rate rounding to 3 decimal places
Assuming your trying to calculate micrograms. simple fix here is to adjust the product strength ... ie 0.05mg goes to 50 ug. / ml then u can use your dose in ug ie 5 ug.

Hi Ben,
I managed to do a workaround, but your fix is probably better. However I can't find ug as a product strength. Do I just add a lookup-unit of measure?
Thanks,
Greta

This will be supported in OpenVPMS 2.4, but your implementer can apply the changes to your release.
These are attached to the JIRA.

Yep just add it - with regard to UNIT CODE which is a list that is embedded in that archetype I never added a new code - I reused Gram - I havent found this to have adverse affects but its not ideal.
