Hi Sandra,

The automatic reminder cancellation system works by adding the cancel period specified in the reminder type to the original due date on the reminder and if that date is less than the current date (the date you are processing the reminders ... Not the processing dates you entered in the reminder work space) it will set the reminder to cancelled.

So if you are constantly looking forward (setting the reminder workspace processing dates into the future) to find reminders to process (which is typical) your process will work as expected. If you look backwards (not typical but may happen) then the reminder would most likely be cancelled before it gets listed ...

Now another thing to understand is if there is no templates defined for a specific reminder type the reminders will be automatically listed for the first reminder when you specify a processing date range that encompasses the reminder due date. As there are no templates the system cannot ascertain when the second and subsequent reminders should be sent (using the overdue interval specified in the template) so the original due date continues to be used. So unless you specify processing dates in the past these reminders will not get listed again ..
