We are in the process of reviewing the reminder system of our practice and trying to capture all the animals that we don't regularly vaccinate and also change our reminder system to cope with 3 yr vaccines.

Our plan is to set reminders to consultations so that in 12 months if we have not seen an animal then they will get an "Annual Health Check" Reminder. Also we are going to start billing out our vaccines with "annual health check" and the vaccines as individual drugs and place appropriate reminders on each of these. Should I attach the same "Annual Health Check" reminder to both normal consults and the annual health check so that they are replaced by each other? It would be good to have the option of replacing or adding depending on whether you think they need to come in again in 12 months or sooner. Can you have multiple reminders of the same type or do they always replace each other to the most recent? eg had a lady who bought all her worm tabs for the year at once, but still wanted reminders sent for when they were due every 3 months. Does anyone have any suggestions?
