Schedule Layouts with Small slot times
Relating to the schedule view - I have setup a clinic who has a standard schedule app time of 15minutes - however they also have a appointment type that is less common but is only 5minutes long.
This requires that a standard appointment takes 3 slots (5minute slots) but the view then is extremely long - I was wondering if we could add a configuration option to split the scheduled view to show a certain time period but if in a given period there is more than 1 appointment it will expand that period ?
so you end up with
11:00 Daisy
11:15 Axel
11:30 sergio -nails
11.35 -
11:40 Mario - dental check
11:45 Heidi sick dog
12:00 -
12:15 -
12:30 Surgery block
12:45 Surgery block
etc
Thoughts??

I don't see any major issues with that.
One possible consideration is that in Schedule views with multiple columns, the addition of a 5 minute appointment in any column will add 5 minute apointment slots in every column. In our clinic, it would take some training to ensure people didn't accidentally fill the slots up with 15 minute appointments... but I suspect that's a specific issue for us!

Yes thats exactly what I dont want - but what I am proposing is that the shedule view will set the "default" period and if a underlying schedules has a shorter period it will only expand when an appointment for a shorter period is booked. Even then it only expands for that section ...ie it doesnt expand the whole view to 5minutes - which is what currently happens.
