Showing price of template on the template page
As a new user of openvpms I have been setting up templates and find it frustrating not to be able to see what the total fee for a template is until it is applied.
If the fee were visible it would provide a quick way of giving clients a "ball park" figure for a procedure without doing an estimate.

Good idea. If there's enough interest in this feature, we can implement it for 1.6.
I should point out that you don't need to press Apply to get the total - you just need to press Add.
The difference being that Apply will save the estimation, whereas Add will just trigger the template to expand. Saves you from deleting an unwanted estimation.

This would be a great idea. Including a subtotal. I like to use product templates as a way of providing estimates to clients, Unfortunately at the moment I have to go through the process of selling and then cancelling the template to that trusty client S T Mate and his pet Over in order to get a total.

Do peoples want the estimate totals to show up in the product selector for templates? It would mean adding a column so both high and low totals can be shown.
