SMS to clients

We have x2 clients that do not receive text messages that we know of. All settings correct, preferred, sms allowed ticked? Could there be another reason they arent sending?

Check that messages are being received by your SMS provider.
You can do this by going to Workflow - Messaging and selecting the SMS tab.
If you have a lot of Pending messages it may indicate a problem sending messages to your provider.
If you have no Pending messages, check for Error messages which may indicate a problem sending to a particular customer.
If that looks OK, try sending a test message through, and verify you can see it in Workflow - Messaging.
Its status should change from Pending to Sent. If you are using MessageMedia, its status should change to Delivered when it is received by the customer.
If that looks OK, but the message still isn't getting through, check what reporting facilities your provider has to try and diagnose further.

I have also noted that for some recievers SMS doesnt work - there is a lot of change in the SMS field in Australia at this time - some providers may now be actively filters customer SMS's. For example we noted that appointment reminders that included a URL shortened link to a customer details update page never arrived - they used to - just not in the last 2mths.
In summary - you should be able to review individual messages response data with your provider - check if its all types of SMS or just some and then check the message content.
It may help if you use a registered sender ID as well
