Snapshots Repo

It poses the question Tim I see you dont use the Snapshots repo anymore?  Can I remove it from my POMS to save the lookup?

I am trying to get a AWS instance up and running for Open to take over from Rackspace but finding time is an issue...

I notice you use the Release repo only 

If we can get a build server up and running that will build automatically and run tests etc do you think we will go back to using a snapshot repo ?

The staging repo has been used since 1.5 either.

Finally the dependencies repo hasnt been updated since 2009 again continue use?

The staging and snapshot repositories aren't required any longer.

The dependencies repository has a few jars not found elsewhere. e.g. echopoint.
