Till balancing bug(let)?

It looks like the till balancing list is showing the date of the first transaction, or something other than the date of the last transaction in the balance. Note that the till balance close is on 1/24, with only 1 transaction on 1/23. It seems to me that this should be listed as 1/24 on the list of balance clearings at the top... perhaps it's by design though? Screenshot attached.

I noticed this on Friday as well. I'm sure it used to display to the date that the till was cleared.

except it was actually Wednesday not Friday, the public holiday has distorted my sense of time.

Hi Paul and Matt,

I am pretty certain the till balance start date is set when the till balance is created which is on the first payment attached to it so the 23rd would be correct. It isn't updated when the till is cleared.
