Using the worklist report to generate patient or client letters

Hi folks.
I would like to send a letter to all the clients who have a boarding booking over christmas. I can generate a CSV file of the people but it records the client as a 'client' and not as surname and firstname and the address as 'contact' which has all their contact details. I can't see how to use these fields in the list of thingeys for merging documents !!!
Help !
Or an I wasting my time?

I'm not familiar with that particular report, but if you want to get the customer details as first name and last name, and the address, suburb, state and postcode and of their address, you'll have to:
1. change the query issued to generate the report
2. change the report template to output the new fields
