new website

I have finished the new website and it is live now. Please check it out. I would appreciate any comments, positive or negative. You can email me at r_myoung@yahoo.com.au. If you find any broken links please let me know. There are still some areas I need to fix eg. search only searches the website at present, not documentation, etc. You should be able to login using your username and password from the old site. Other details were lost during the transfer so you can update your contact information if you wish. As part of the new site there are 2 forums, 1 for developers and one for users which are connected with the mailing lists. Any post to the forum will go to the list and any post to the list should go on the forum. (well I hope so anyway, I am about to find out!) You can also now following the links on the website to edit your mailing list settings yourself. I hope the new website helps to build and consolidate the OpenVPMS community. Matt Young.

Re: new website

Hi Matt and List, Yes, I noticed the change last night. I like the way you preserved the look of the site but made all of the updates to function. If everything works out as intended it is going to be great. We'd better give it a hammering and find out how it all works! Thanks very much for all of your hard creative work Matt. Peter Gooey

Looks good

I like the new website, it looks good. I think the lime green writing on white or apple green background could be a little darker to enhance contrast.

Green text colouring

I have darkened the text a little but I will look at changing it further.

Re: Looks good

I have just made some changes to the style sheet and the green text is now dark grey with green underline. A few people had said this to me. Let me know if people are still not happy with that. Thanks for the feedback,

Matt Young.

New WEbsite

Have just noticed that if I edit a forum submission it appears on the forum as another post. Is that how it is meant to be Matt?

Re: New Website

No it's not Peter, I will reply to you off-list as well to troubleshoot.

Website

Hi Matt, I have just had my first experience posting on the forums with the new website. It is a great advance from the last one (and it was pretty good).
